In the middle of a world pandemic, on 7th April 2020, UCAN took its first step to help the people imprisoned in their homes—unable to go outside for a walk or to the gym. We realized the pain of losing your well-maintained youth body over an unhealthy lockdown lifestyle causing:
Desk-bound routine: with movement restricted. Spending long hours sitting or lying down, often spending +12hrs of screen time became a habit. Leading to poor posture, muscle weakness, and decreased cardio.
Emotional Eating: people intake huge chunks of snacks & sugary treats for temporary relief. These impulsive eating habits were driven by anxiety, boredom, or stress. Resulting in poor nutrition, weight gain, and a potential negative impact on mental well-being too.
